10-year-old drowns to death

A 10-year-old has drowned in a canal in the Pindeniya area in Atala, Sabaragamuwa.
Accordingly, the girl, identified as an area resident, had gone to a nearby canal with her sister, and had drowned hile the duo had been swimming.
Further investigations into the girl’s death are being carried out by the Pindeniya Police.
