26hr water cut for part of Colombo

There will be a 26 hour water cut to the Colombo from 10am today until 12 noon tomorrow(15), The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said a short while ago. Areas  affected by this cut are Pettah, Orugodawatte, Stese Road, Grandpass, Bloemendhal, Kosgashandiya, Mattakkuliya, Crow Island, Thotalanga, Kotahena, Modara, Aluth Mawatha and Mahakumarage Mawatha.

 

The water cut is due to a sudden failure of the Ambathale-Colombo water supply line, the relese said.
