UNP Working Committee accepts reforms

The UNP Working Committee has accepted the proposals put forward by the Reforms Committee, Party leader Ranil Wickremasinghe said at a press briefing today. The recommendations include a secret ballot to appoint UNP party leader in an event where more than one name is proposed.

 

 

It states that the same should apply for the posts of Deputy Leader, Assistant Leader, National Organizer and Chairman.
