One person was killed when he attempted to use an unexploded cone shaped expolsive device found in an air force training ground in Palliwasalthurai, Kalpitiya to break a ‘Kurumba”, Police media spokesman told Ada Derana.
The 32 year old man had found most probably a mortar and taken it to a nearby coconut estate where he attempted to use the pointed device to split the coconut.
