Uni student succumbs to injuries following Police assault

A student of the Ruhunu University who was amongst the group of students that were attacked by Police personnel in order to stabilize a turbulent situation at the Ruhunu University premises recently succumbed to his injuries today morning at the Badulla General Hospital.

 

Coordinator of the Inter University Students Council Udul Premaratna says that the student was admitted to the Diyathalawa Hospital following the attacks by Police forces but was later transferred to the Badulla General Hospitalfor further treatment.
