Fuel prices revised

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) announced that its retail fuel prices will be revised with effect from midnight today (May 31).

Accordingly, the price of Octane 92 petrol will be reduced by Rs. 15 per litre, bringing down its new price to Rs. 318.

However, the price of Octane 95 petrol has been increased by Rs. 20, and Lanka Super Diesel by Rs. 10 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of kerosene will be reduced by Rs. 50. The new price of a litre of kerosene will accordingly be Rs. 245, the CPC said.

The price of Lanka Industrial Kerosene will also be reduced by Rs. 60, bringing down its new price to Rs. 270.

Meanwhile, Lanka IOC has also reduced the prices of fuel with effect from midnight today (May 31), in line with the CPC’s fuel price revision.

The new prices are as follows;

Octane 92 petrol - Rs. 318
Octane 95 petrol - Rs. 385
Lanka Super Diesel - Rs. 340
Lanka Kerosene – Rs. 245
Lanka Industrial Kerosene – Rs. 270
