Shooting incident in Dikwella leaves one person injured

A shooting incident reported in Dematapitiya, Dikwella has left one individual injured, the police say.
According to reports, a group of people who arrived in a car had opened fire at the victim using a T-56 firearm.
Following the incident, which took place at around 7.10 a.m. today (June 13), the gunshot victim was admitted to the Matara Base Hospital for medical attention
