VIDEO: Siyatha broadcasting temporarily suspended

The News Director of the Siyatha Television channel says that the petrol bomb attack which was directed at their TV channel building has resulted in the temporary suspension of the channels broadcasting.

 

Udithamal Hemachandra the News Director of Channel said to Ada Derana that the ground floor of the building has been completely destroyed by the fire while the first and second floors have sustained critical damage to a certain extent.

 

He also said that the Government analyst is still conducting inspection throughout the mainly damaged areas which are the main control room and the library department

 

However according to Udithamal broadcasting of their radio stations are currently being carried out with much difficulty even though the building housing their radio stations was also slightly damaged by the fire.
