Water cut in Colombo tomorrow

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that several areas in the city of Colombo will face a water cut from 9.00 am tomorrow (07 August) to 9.00 am the following day (08 August) due to vital repair work being done.

Water supplies to Colombo Fort, Olcott Mawatha, Main Street, Janadhipathi Mawatha, Galle Road (Galle Face to Kolpity), chittampalam a gardiner Mawatha, Malay Street, Slave Island, Lotus Street and all linked byroads will be halted in the mentioned time frame.

The Water Board has also said that people should fill and store necessary water previous to the water cut in order to avoid discomfort.
