Iranians arrested with Rs. 900 million worth of heroin

Two Iranians have been arrested with Rs.900 million worth 8kg of heroin at 3.00 a.m. today. The suspects have been arrested by the Narcotics Unit of Customs in the Katunayake Airport.

 

 

It is reported that the high grade ‘Crystal’ Heroin had been stored in their baggage in a way that undetectable by x-ray. The suspects are between 25-35 years old and arrived had arrived in Sri Lanka from Doha.
