Gunman fires shots at hospital employee’s house

A house belonging to an employee of the Colombo National Hospital was reportedly shot at in the early hours of Thursday (05 Oct.), according to police.

While no injuries were reported following the shooting, police said that the shooter had arrived on a motorcycle, and opened fire at the house in the Polpithimukalana area in Kandana.

Police suspect that a revolver was used for the shooting, and have launched investigations into the arrest of the suspect.
