Ubisoft is currently developing a fresh Ghost Recon title for Sony’s PlayStation Portable. The game, titled Ghost Recon Predator, will hit stores in November. In the game players resume their role as a member of the Ghost squad, this time fighting terrorists in Sri Lanka.

Details of the handheld game were revealed over at the official PlayStation blog.

In the game, players lead an elite squad on the hunt for terrorists in the jungles of Sri Lanka. Deep behind enemy lines, your mission is to take out the insurgents before the situation gets out of hand.

The official Playstation blog had this to say about the game, “You’ll encounter the enemy on his own ground; he knows the terrain better, has more allies, knows where to hide and where to attack. Surprise is on his side – he can be anywhere, he can be anyone. In a crowded street, you’ll first have to make the distinction between friend and foe, and the only way to fulfill your mission is with the help of your technology and training.”

Predator appears to feature many of the gameplay components of the Advanced Warfighter series, including third-person cover, squad commands and access to several high-tech gadgets. The game will also include three-player cooperative action.

Ubisoft has also posted the first trailer with a closer look at the game.
