UPDATE: Two bodies recovered from Kirinda

Two bodies out of the three people that went missing yesterday after a boat capsized off the Kirinda harbour has been recovered today by Navy search teams, says Navy Spokesman Captain Athula Senarath.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

While A Navy Sub-Lieutenant and a child drowned yesterday in the incident three others including two children were reported missing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

According to the Spokesman the three people missing were the father and two children and the two bodies found today were of the father and one of the children.

 

 

 

 

 

 

He also said that further search operations are being carried out to find the other missing childr.
