Suspects wanted over Peliyagoda murder arrested

Four suspects who were wanted in connection with a recent murder in Peliyagoda have been arrested, Police reported.
Accordingly, four persons, aged 30, 37, 43 and 53, were arrested on Friday evening (01 Dec.), for their alleged involvement in a murder committed in Peliyagoda.
According to police, a sword and a machete were also found in the suspects’ possession at the time of their arrest.
On 28 November, police reported that a man had been hacked to death at the Thorana Junction in Peliyagoda.
Further investigations into the murder are being carried out by the Peliyagoda Police.
