Etisalat Introduce the ‘Affinity Packages’ for Schools

Etisalat has introduced Affinity Packages to support local schools. These packages were launched for the Royal College Old Boys Union in celebration of Royal College’s 175thanniversary. The latest addition to the Affinity Packages is St. Aloysius’ College (Galle) in celebration of the 115th anniversary. The Affinity Packages was developed and promoted as part of Etisalat’s commitment towards the uplifting and development of schools, which benefit both the present and past pupils of the respective institutions. The packages are opened to other Colombo and Outstation schools.

The Affinity Packages will help the schools maintain a continuous fund that will financially assist different school projects as and when the need arises, without having to request for sponsors. The St Aloysius Package was developed to help raise funds to help produce physical resources in St. Aloysius’ College, mainly the renovation of the college main hall. The package is available to all members of the Old Boy Association, staff and parents. Etisalat will make a monthly contribution to the school as long as they are connected to the network, which will provide a substantial contribution for the school’s developmental activities.

Etisalat Director/CEO Dumindra Ratnayaka said, “This is an esteemed collaboration between us and one of Sri Lanka’s well respected schools and we look forward to being an active part of the school’s development. This is a package which will be applicable to some of Sri Lanka’s best and most renowned schools in and out of Colombo, and we hope to engage in many more activities of this nature where we can indirectly contribute to the development and sustainability of respected institutions.” Meanwhile, Dhammika Mahendre - President OBA said, “We Alloysians are always committed to developing our beloved school. With the introduction of the Etisalat loyalty package, now we can contribute to our school development process through our monthly cell phone bill without extra charges. Now we are enjoying better service while contributing to school  development.
