As a people’s representative he has the right to vote for or against the upcoming 18th Amendment to the Constitution, United National Party (UNP) Puttalam District Parliamentarian Palitha Range Bandara exclusively told Adaderana a short while ago.

However, Mr. Range Bandara said he has not yet taken a firm decision on whether to vote for or against the Amendment to the Constitution when it is brought before Parliament on Wednesday. He said that he decision could be seen by all on Wednesday during voting time. He has no intention of either abstaining or absenting himself from the proceedings on that day.

Incidentally, September 8, the day the Constitutional Amendments are being taken up in Parliament happens to be Palitha Range Bandara’s 48th birthday.
