To support CA or not depends on my supporters: Ranjith Madduma Bandara

Since he entered parliament through the votes of United National Party (UNP) supporters, he still remains with the stance the party has taken on the Constitutional Amendments to be brought before Parliament on Wednesday, says Moneragala District Parliamentarian Ranjith Madduma Bandara.

However, Mr. Madduma Bandara told Adaderana that there were a large number of UNP voters who cast their vote in his favour at the last General Elections though the UNP had canvassed against him and urged its supporters not to vote for him.

He will take a final decision whether to oppose or support the Constitutional Amendments in Parliament depending on the need to express the opinion of such voters in Parliament. He will bow to the wishes of the majority voters, Ranjith Madduma Bandara told Adaderana this morning.
