Housing and building construction industry in Sri Lanka experience a first in ‘DESIGNER Roller Doors’

Amil Industries introduced an industry first “a high security roller door system” to the experts and professionals in the Housing and Building Construction sector, at a recently held launch ceremony at Galle Face Hotel Colombo.

Designed to meet high security standards the roller doors are manufactured according to stringent Australian quality standards and technology. The ceremony was graced by Architect Jayampathy Herath Chairman Professional Affairs Board of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects, and eminent personnel, engineers, architects and contractors in the construction, building and industry.

At a demonstration the distinguished guests were informed and educated about the advantageous of the new “DESIGNER roller doors”. The high quality and well proven motor, micro computer control box and transmitter, the gate responds quickly to operator instructions. The double roller assembly located at the top and bottom of the gate ensures maximum rolling efficiency when opening and closing. Other standard features with the DESIGNER Roller Door include a manual operation override facility in case of power failure, and the added safety feature, is that it prevents the gate closing on pedestrians or vehicles. This is enabled through the “Reverse Sensor” technology. The group was also able to experience the unique high-frequency alarm system which sounds the moment it is forced opened; which ensures high security, excluding any intruder risks.

Available in 10 different colours and spanning up to 0.6mm in thickness, the doors are verified and quality tested according to Australian technology. Distinctiveness is that the doors can be manufactured in sizes ranging over 24´x20´, catering to the exceeding needs of the constructing industry.
