MphasiS launches operations in Sri Lanka

MphasiS, a leading IT services
provider launched its Global Delivery Center in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The center was
formally inaugurated by Mr. Basil Rajapaksa, Hon. Minister of Economic
Development, Government of Sri Lanka and Ganesh Ayyar, CEO MphasiS.
MphasiS had announced its intent to set up a centre in Colombo end of
last year and has since been working on hiring local talent as well as setting
up infrastructure to embark on its full fledged global delivery operation. The
Company, plans to hire over 2000 people in the next 3 years in Sri Lanka. The
MphasiS Global Delivery Center in Orion City, Dr. Danister De Silva Mawatha,
Colombo 9 will join MphasiS’ network
of Delivery centers providing Applications, BPO and ITO services to clients
world-wide.
With over 38,000 employees, MphasiS, has presence across America,
Europe, Australia, Asia Pacific, Japan and India. Employees at the Sri Lanka
center will be part of MphasiS Global Talent Pool and groomed as a part of
MphasiS Talent Development Program.
