Next LG polls to be held under FPTP system - Keheliya

Next local government election will be held under the first past the post system(FPTP), Media Minister and Cabinet spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella said a short while ago. According to the system the candidate with the highest number of formal votes is elected, it is the simplest system of voting and counting votes.
