STF nab international drug trafficker hiding in Nuwara Eliya

The Police Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a suspected international drug trafficker in Nuwara Eliya, police said.
The arrested suspect has been identified as Kahanavitage Don Nandasena.
He had reportedly been arrested while in hiding in the Nuwara Eliya area with his mistress.
The accused is believed to have been in hiding in India for a while before returning back to the island.
It is also suspected that the 09 kilograms of ‘ice’ (crystal methamphetamine) recently taken into custody by the STF had been trafficked into the country by the same suspect.
