Man hacked to death in Valaichchenai over mobile phone dispute

A person has been hacked to death with sharp weapons in the Valaichchenai area last night (19).
Police said that the attack was perpetrated following a heated argument between two friends regarding a mobile phone.
The deceased person has been identified as a 43-year-old resident of the Birandarachchenai area.
The suspect who committed the crime has been arrested and the Valaichchenai Police is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
