The total cost of President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his delegates journey to New York is Rs. 140 Million, claims UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake. Speaking at a media briefing today he urged the government to stop wasting the money of the public in this manner.

Mr. Attanayake added that while the government is wasting the country’s money on tours the public is burdened with the price increase on bread and imposing tax on dhal.
