Man arrested with 30kg of drugs including ‘Ice’ and heroin

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on Friday night (26) for the possession of a large consignment of narcotic substances.
The arrest was made by the officers of Biyagama Police in the area of Bandarawatta when the suspect was transporting nearly 30kg of drugs.
In the impounded consignment were 15kg of ‘Ice’ (crystal methamphetamine), 14kg of Hash and 941g of heroin, according to the police media division.
The suspect was identified as a resident of Bomiriya area in Kaduwela.
