Teenager killed in knife attack during musical show

One person has been stabbed to death with a sharp weapon due to an argument that arose during an outdoor musical show escalating out of control, early this morning (05), the police said.
Panadura-North Police stated that the deceased individual, identified as Ravindu Heshan Fernando, was a 17-year-old resident of the Paraththa area of Panadura.
Police have arrested the person who allegedly carried out the attack.
Panadura – North Crimes Unit is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
