Close associate of ‘Karandeniya Sudda’ arrested with firearm, heroin

A close associate of the notorious underworld figure and drug trafficker known as “Karandeniya Sudda” has been apprehended by the Police Special Task Force (STF) along with another suspect.

STF personnel have seized heroin and a firearm from the possession of the suspects.

The apprehension was carried out by the Police Special Task Force (STF) during a raid conducted yesterday (31) in the Wathurawila Junction of the Elpitiya police division 

The two suspects were arrested for the possession of 01 gram, and 200 milligrams of heroin and aiding and abetting the possession of firearms.
