NPP wins in Matale, Nallur and Mulkirigala

The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has released the results of the Nallur polling divisions in Jaffna District, Mulkirigala polling division in the Hambantota District and Matale polling division in Matale District.

The National People’s Power (NPP) has polled the most number of votes in the Nallur polling division in the Jaffna District. 

National People’s Power (NPP) – 8,831
Thamil Makkal Kuttani (TMK) – 3,527
Ilankai Thamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) – 3,228
All Ceylon Tamil Congress (ACTC) – 2,396

Meanwhile, the NPP has also claimed victory in the Mulkirigala polling division in the Hambantota District. 

National People’s Power (NPP) – 42,699
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 10,302
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 6,042
New Democratic Front (NDF) – 4,281
H’tota Independent Group 01 – 1,575

The NPP has polled the highest votes in the Matale polling division in Matale District. 

National People’s Power (NPP) – 37, 287
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 11,041
New Democratic Front (NDF) – 2,341
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 1,773
‘Sarvajana Balaya’ (SRJB) – 773
