NPP tops Mahiyanganaya and Aranayake polling divisions

The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has released the results of the Mahiyanganaya polling division in the Badulla District and Aranayake polling division in Kegalle District. 

 

NPP has won in Mahiyanganaya polling division with 41,338 votes while SJB is second with 18,228.

 

National People’s Power (NPP) – 41,338
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 18,228
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 3,289
New Democratic Front (NDF) – 1,626
Badulla – Independent Group – 1,175

 

NPP also wins in the Aranayake polling division with 21,894 votes. 

 

National People’s Power (NPP) – 21,894
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 8,289
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 1,193
New Democratic Front (NDF) – 1,139
 ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ (SRJB) – 686
