Vanni District preferential vote results released

The preferential vote results of the Vanni District in the 2024 General Election have been released.

SJB’s Rishad Bathiudeen has polled the highest number of preferential votes in the Vanni District.

Thurairasa Ravikumar has received the highest preferential votes from the ITAK to secure its only seat.

Selvathambi Thilakanathan has obtained the highest preferential votes from the NPP.

1. Thurairasa Ravikumar - 11,215

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) 

1. Rishad Bathiudeen - 21,018

Democratic Tamil National Alliance (DTNA)

1. A.Adaikkalanathan - 5,695

Sri Lanka Labor Party (SLLP) 

1. Cader Masthan - 13,511
