Two dead after car plunges into river in Kandy

Two persons have been reported dead following a vehicle accident at Panwila in Kandy, police said.

It is reported that the incident has occurred when a car veered off the road and plunged into a river at Panwila. 

Accordingly, the deceased have been identified as a male and female.
