“Never Again”: President vows to prevent repeat of queue-related deaths

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake today (17) emphasized that Sri Lanka will never again face a crisis like the one where people were forced to queue for fuel and gas, sometimes resulting in loss of life, the President’s Media Division.

The President made this statement during the launch of construction work on six new petroleum storage tanks at the Kolonnawa Petroleum Storage Complex.

The President also highlighted that the current government is taking steps to safeguard energy autonomy and achieve economic independence.

President Dissanayake also sought the support of all citizens for the progressive transformation.
