Navy seizes fishing trawler suspected of smuggling narcotics in southern seas

A local multiday fishing trawler, suspected of smuggling narcotics has been seized in seas off the southern coast.

The vessel is being escorted for onward investigations and legal action, the Sri Lanka Navy has announced.
