30,000 MT fuel oil shipment arrives in Sri Lanka

A shipment of furnace oil required for electricity generation has arrived in Sri Lanka.

The Managing Director of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), Mayura Neththikumara stated that a vessel carrying 30,000 metric tons of fuel oil has reached the country.    

The ship had arrived yesterday (12), and the transfer of the furnace oil to the Kolonnawa Petroleum Storage Terminal has already commenced.
