Separate line allocates to monitor election violence

The Election Department has allocated a separate phone line to receive complaints with respect to the Presidential election, Election Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya  said.

“This is to inform that centers for election complaints investigation located in the Election Secretariat and offices of the District Returning Offices are open from 6.30 a.m. on the polling day for receiving complaints or observation submitted to the above fax and telephone numbers which were allocated for this purpose separately,” Deshapriya said in a statement.
