Attempt to destroy important documents of Ministries – Handunnetti

On a tip-off received DNA MP Sunil Handunnetti today inspected the claim that a large number of important documents belonging to key Ministries were about to be thrown away at the Sethsiripaya.
Speaking at the scene Handunnetti claimed that plans were afoot to throw away key documents that belonged to the Highways and Housing and Construction Ministries today. On the outset I found important documents related to many ministries and especially documents pertaining to the carpeting of roads under the ‘Maga Neguma’.
The MP requested an immediate inquiry into the incident and demanded police protection to the documents.
