Mother and 2 daughters drown in Kalu Ganga

A mother and her two daughters have drowned while bathing in the Kalu Ganga at Pelapitiyagoda, Thebuwana. 

Police said that a 42-year-old woman and her two daughters, aged 19 and 11, drowned at around 4.30pm today. 

Residents in the area had recovered their bodies which were sent to the Horana Hospital. 

Thebuwana Police are conducting an investigation.
