Fernando transferred to Colombo remand prison

Former Minister Johnston Fernando, who was remanded over allegations of financial frauds against him, was transferred to the Colombo Remand Prison this afternoon (6).


Johnston Fernando was further remanded till May 11 by the Kurunegala Magistrate on Wednesday (6).


The Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) arrested the former Minister as he arrived at the FCID to give a statement on alleged financial misappropriations in the Lanka Sathosa Ltd.
