Who is the giant ‘black tiger’ that backs the pro-LTTE elements?

TV Derana commemorates the sixth anniversary of the end of the island’s decades-long civil conflict as a media organisation that contributed to cover its events until the very end.

All the media organisations played a significant role during the time, however, it is a well known secret that there was a particular media organisation here which continued to back pro-LTTE elements during the period.

This particular media organisation disinclined to address the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) as a terrorist group which had been recognised as one of the most dangerous terrorist groups in the world.

They never forget to use the honorific of “Mr.” when calling the LTTE leader Vellupillai Prabhakaran. S. P. Thamilselvan, and the leader of the political wing of the LTTE, was the “peace pigeon” for them.

This media organisation also continued a policy of trying to exaggerate the achievements of the defeated terrorist group. However, the biggest news of the decade, the death of the LTTE leader, was just limited to few minutes.

Who is the giant ‘black tiger’ behind all these activities against the island nation?

Ada Derana intends to reveal all information regarding this matter in the near future.
