Sri Lanka Cricket Board of Inquiry appointed

Minister of Tourism and Sports Navin Dissanayake has appointed a Board of Inquiry (BoI) to probe, investigate, inquire and report on any corruption, abuse of power and authority by any office bearers and members of the Committee of former Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).


The (BoI) comprises Ravi Algama (Attorney-at-Law), Jaliya Bodinagoda (Attorney-at-Law), and Varuna Mallawaarachchi (Attorney-at-Law).


The BoI commenced its sitting today (26) at the SLC Headquarters. The investigation report will be submitted to the Minister at the earliest, the SLC said in a statement.


The next sittings of the BoI will be held at the National Olympic Committee.
