Singapore appoints High Commissioner for Sri Lanka

The Government of Singapore has appointed High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, the Channel News Asia said in a statement on Thursday (28). 
 

“S. Chandra Das has been appointed Non-Resident High Commissioner to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. He will assume the position pending his presentation of credentials to Sri Lanka,” the statement said.
 
 
He had previously served as Singapore’s Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, resident in Singapore from 2006 to 2015 as well.
