Air Force declares general amnesty for deserters

Sri Lanka Air Force has declared a general amnesty period for its absentees, enabling them to receive their legal discharge from the Air Force.


The amnesty period is offered for Airmen and Airwomen who have deserted the Air Force during the period from 2009, June 1 to 2014, December 31.

 
Amnesty period would start from July 1. Deserters are required to report to Air Force Headquarters Colombo from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for their clearance formalities.
