JHU to contest under a new front

Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka said that the Jathika Hela Urumaya will depart from the the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) and will contest under a new front at the forthcoming general election.


The observation was made at a press conference held in Colombo today (05).


According to Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya, this front will be called the United National Front for Good Governance.
