Body found in luggage near Bastian Mawatha

The police on Wednesday (29) found remains of a woman inside a luggage at the Fort bus station near the Bastian Mawatha, the Police Spokesperson said.


The body was recovered after a pedestrian, who spotted the luggage, informed the Fort police, he added.


“The police have yet to identify the person. The body will be taken to the Colombo National Hospital for a autopsy,”  he said.
