Police nab fake MG Danushka

An individual who defrauded several people by impersonating popular singer and Derana Dream Star Season 05 winner M.G. Danushka has been arrested by Negombo Police.
The suspect had allegedly deceived organizers of musical shows by claiming he was the popular artists and had obtained payments to perform. He is also accused of deceiving young female fans of the singer via the internet.
He was arrested at the Negombo bus stand today following a complaint filed by the actual M.G. Danushka.
The arrested suspect, N.G. Ranasinghe Bandara, 28, looks similar to MG Danushka in appearance.
