Youth shot dead in Ingiriya

A 28-year-old youth has been shot and killed in the Ingiriya area, police said.
The victim’s father who had returned home at around 4.15am this morning from a funeral had discovered his son’s body lying on the ground in front of their home.
He had later filed a complaint with Ingiriya Police.
Police suspect that the shooting had been carried out last night.
