Wele Sudha’s sister among 3 held with heroin

Three persons including the sister of notorious drug lord Samantha Kumara alias ‘Wele Sudha’ have been arrested for the possession of more than 100g of heroin in Borella.

Police said that the suspects were arrested at three different locations in Borella last evening with different quantities of heroin. 

In total 111g and 540mg of heroin was seized from the three suspects while it is estimated to be worth around Rs 1.7 million. 

Last Wednesday (14), the Colombo High Court sentenced Wele Sudha to death after he was convicted for the possession of 7.05 grams of heroin.
