PRECIFAC summons actress and ex-navy chief

Actress Damitha Abeyratne was summoned by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC) this morning. 

A spokesman for the commission said that she arrived to give a statement with respect to investigations being carried out into a complaint regarding fraud and corruption at SriLankan Airlines

The commission had previously recorded statements from actress and former MP Upeksha Swarnamali as well as veteran actor Bandula Wijeweera regarding the complaint.

Meanwhile former Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) Admiral Jayantha Perera had also arrived at the commission this morning to give a statement regarding Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Limited (RALL).
