The Government on Thursday (19) appointed new  Ambassadors and High Commissioners for several countries including Austria, China and Italy.

Dr Karunasena Kodituwakku - Ambassador to China

D.S.L. Pelpola - High Commissioner to Italy

Darshana Perera - Ambassador to Indonesia

A.L.M. Lafeer - Ambassador to Jordan

KWMD Karunaratne - Ambassador to Mayanmar

A.M. Thaseem - - Ambassador to Saudi Arabia

Sunil De Silva - High Commissioner to South Africa

S.J. Mohideen - Ambassador to UAE

M.S. Anwar - Ambassador to Palestine

Nimal Weeraratna - High Commissioner to Singapore

C.M. Anzar - Ambassador to Turkey
