Mother and daughter commit double suicide

A mother and her daughter have committed suicide by hanging themselves in the Waguruwela area in Pannala.
Police said that a 45-year-old woman and her 20-year-old daughter had committed suicide at their home last night.
The reason for the double suicide is yet to be ascertained, police said.
