Water Board employees call of token strike

December 29, 2015   12:02 pm

After several rounds of discussions, the authorities have agreed to give full annual bonus for the employees of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWS&DB), removing the token strike which had been launched since early Tuesday morning.

The first token strike was commenced on December 26 after the authorities had decided to grant a reduced bonus for the employees.

Later, a group of employees of the NWS&DB had engaged in token strikes several times since last Saturday in protest over the decision.
